Mad Homes Seattle

We only found out about this on the day we were leaving Seattle because we got up to have coffee with Andy and Emily before they left for work. The local news did a little segment on these houses in Capital Hill that were given over to an artists' group for a last hurrah before getting torn down. We found the intersection they mentioned and drove over. Just a residential street with four weird houses in the middle of the block. The houses were really cool. The scale was impressive. One had been completely wrapped in shipping plastic and another had been cast in latex and then the sheets of latex were hand stitched into a skin of the house. Inside, there were some pretty amazing optical illusions. There were just a handful of other people wandering through. Mad Homes is up through August 7 and is free. If you live in or near Seattle or know someone who does, it's definitely worth checking out.

Check out how mind-blowingly nifty this is in the photo set.

These houses look so epic! It may not pass to the normal standards of beauty, but these homes are simply a work of art.

I can't imagine how people think of and make such houses. For the sake of art, I think they're great.

Truly, these homes are a work of art. I hope I could find a house as daring as these in manila real estate.

I wouldn't mind living in these homes. My husband is a painter and he's done an excellent work in our houses for rent in Northern Kentucky.

These houses are very unique and I would really love to live in one of those. I hope that park avenue condos have these kinds of features in each units.

The houses look to have good exteriors, but why is it that they're as if coming out of a plastic bag?

The architectural design of the houses are very compelling and enticing. I like the idea of using different concepts in creating those homes. The art used in these homes make the entire place a wonderful habitat.

That's a very unique style. I wish I can check it out because it's a nice property to have considering my admiration for arts.

I can't imagine how anybody could actually live in such an eccentric house. I mean, is that a living space at all or just meant for show? Eitherway, that is one work of art that I don't think should be made fun of in any way possible.

It seems surreal to know how conveyancing in Japan can be. First, the laws are very different and the culture is very heightened.

What are the odds of having this kind of artwork at our rented apartment in brussels? So cool!

I also saw an upside down house which was featured last time to I forgot what show it was but it was really nerve wrecking and really really crazy but I've also seen some flats to rent in liverpool which are way beyond your imagination. The interior was really good, though it is not as weird as the mad houses you've got there.

I really look forward to meeting a conveyancer melbourne. As soon as I will have a takeover of the house, I'll definitely make this design as an inspiration in sprucing up the place.

One way of improving the way a house looks is by picking out some well-designed metal wall panels. There are panels that would also maximize the space in a house, many homeowners are using that nowadays. New innovation in home and style.

I think living in a home like this would most likely require conveyancers. This taste is too specific but I find the art whimsical rather than unusual. Beautiful touch!
