I like this. Kate is a cheap makeup line from Kanebo that went just as surreal with its ads as any expensive brand. The tagline (and url) is No More Rules. Why not go to the Kate website and click the TV-CF button to see a strange 15-second "commercial film?"The featured eyeshadow is "gradical steps," one of those ingenius made-in-Japan words that isn't technically English, but, once you know what it means, you'd be hard pressed to find a real English equivalent that works as well. Watch the "makeup steps" video and tell me if you can come up with a better word.
